We speak English and Russian.
We are TICA registered breeder of exotic, rare and unique Highlander cats. We are located in Southern Ontario, Canada. Our main goal is not making big profits from selling kittens but rather promotion and further development of the truly magnificent Highlander breed. This is why we named our cattery ‘Truly Yours’. Our cattery stays in close contact with other reputable breeders of Highlanders and together we support and promote the concept of ethical breeding.
It means few aspects:
|
Our cattery doesn’t mass produce kittens. We don’t have a mountain of cages with cats in the dark corner of the basement, cats that never feel any love or even attention, poorly treated and kept alive only for one purpose to make a profit for their owner from selling kittens.
Our Highlanders freely walk (and run!) around the house as all our other not so furry family members do. For their ‘peak’ moments our sires and queens have their separate rooms, so you can be absolutely assured that the parents of your kitten are the ones listed on TICA registration form. Picture on the right - our then 'teenager' and now Sir Big Max in the middle of game. His eyes are sparkling with intelligence and curiosity! |
|
Our sires and queens are carefully chosen to enhance the quality of Highlander breed. Whenander we place our kittens into their permanent homes we want to do it with the pride of knowledge that our youngsters do not have any medical or behavioral issues and they will become a real joy to their new owners.
Our cattery is virus-free facility. Our sires and queens are all checked against FeLV and FIV and go through regular check-ups and required vaccinations. All our sires and queens are medically insured and we do not take any shortcuts in respect to their health. They are kept indoors and not exposed to any other animals. Our cattery doesn’t offer stud services. Pictures on the left - Mishka (top) and unseparable buddies Big Max and Sage (bottom) |
|
If you ever decide to purchase a Highlander kitten from our cattery you will be asked to sign a written contract between you and our cattery outlining legal rights and responsibilities of both sides. Should you choose other cattery please be aware that reputable breeders would not release a kitten or cat without a contract signed by both the breeder and the buyer. Breeders’contracts may vary in form and contents. Avoid breeders who don’t require such a document. We strongly encourage you to research before purchasing your friend, to stay away from unethical breeders and to check if the breeder is registered with TICA (The International Cat Association) to ensure that the kitten you want to purchase is really a Highlander. As Highlanders are a relatively new breed, TICA is the only association at the moment that maintains Highlander registry.

Should you decide to purchase a Highlander kitten from us we are ‘truly yours’ for years to come. You can contact our cattery at any time if you have any non-medical question related to your cat and we will be happy to assist you to the best of our expertise.
